Chestnut Flats Preserve is a beautiful 900 acre protected community and we offer some of the finest property available in the Western North Carolina Mountains. Our property elevations are in the 2800-4500 range and we offer total privacy through careful, low density development. Many of our available properties are ridge top tracts that offer great home sites, abundant usable land, and long range mountain views for miles. Also at Chestnut Flats we have 4.5 miles of wide, well built roads and all roads in the community will be paved.

At Chestnut Flats Preserve we border Great Smoky Mountains National Park which is the most visited National Park in the U.S. The National Park provides our area with unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities and we have a connected trail system throughout our community as well. Also we often have a deer and elk from the Park grazing our commons areas in the early mornings are evenings and lately weve seen the elk most every day just after sunset.
