At the core of Mystic Lands are three sister communities each nestled along the Nantahala National Forest. Mystic River, Mystic Ridge and Mystic Forest are each small, private, gated communities that adhere to architectural covenants and guidelines, ensuring the preservation of privacy and value that this land offers. Each community hosts a unique feature to be shared with the others:
Mystic River sits along the famed Nantahala River, known for its fly-fishing and water sports. All three communities will share the clubhouse and private access to the river. This is the only clubhouse on a whitewater river in the Eastern United States.
Mystic Forest is nestled in the higher elevations of the Nantahala National Forest and hosts an impressive family of trails for hiking or horseback riding that connect to the Appalachian and Bartram trail running through the forest. This unique community also hosts a professionally designed Equestrian Center, complete with riding rink.
Mystic Ridge sits high above the Nantahala river and gorge. The gated entrance is located by the pier of Queen's Lake, where the communities' lakeside cabana and boathouse sits. At thge Ridge's highest point is Mystic Lands' most unusual amenity, a celestial observatory and park, enabling all residents stunning views of the pure Nantahala skies.
